This commemorative coin was first issued in 1964 following the Beatles first US visit. An original is gold colored, while this reproduction is pewter colored. Most originals came in a wax or rice paper wrapper and were produced by the Green Duck Co. A Canadian edition of the same coin is also known to exist; there is no reproduction of this coin however.
